GBR Patients Donate Bras to the PiN Ministry
GBR Plastic Surgery collects new and/or gently used pre-surgery bras from our patients to donate to the PiN Ministry. Located in Virginia Beach, the PiN Ministry provides a range of services for our area’s poor and homeless. Bras are tagged with breast cancer screening information and donated to low-income women in order to raise awareness about the importance of early detection.

GBR & Salt Participate in Colon Cancer Fundraiser
This past March, staff from GBR and Salt Spa participated in Sentara’s Don’t Sit on Colon Cancer 5k and Walk to raise awareness about colorectal cancer. As the American Cancer Society reports, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States (excluding skin cancers).

GBR & Salt Sponsor 9th Annual Crush N’ Run Event
This April, GBR & Salt give back to several area non-profit organizations as sponsors of the 9th Annual Crush N’ Run 5K at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. This much-loved event raises funds for organizations including Paint Pink, Girls on the Run Hampton Roads, The Pink Ribbon Effect, ForKids, and SEALKIDS.

GBR & Salt Support D-FEET Cancer
Each year, Jason Hann of ReVITalize and Salt Spa support D-FEET Cancer: The Dalton Fox Foundation, founded in memory of Dalton Fox who passed away from Ewing Sarcoma at just 12 years old. D-FEET Cancer raises funds for pediatric cancer research, with a specific mission to find targeted therapies and treatments for Ewing Sarcoma.
